Partner Membership Terms

Membership and eligibility

HeyTaos Partner is a paid monthly membership designed to provide businesses with an enhanced presence across the HeyTaos regional discovery platform.

Membership includes the applicable services and benefits described on the Partner Program enrollment page.

Each business location, lodging property or individual professional profile requires a separate membership unless HeyTaos approves an exception. HeyTaos reviews membership eligibility, business information and relevant directory categories before activation.

Basic business listings remain available independently of paid membership. Ordinary factual corrections to unpaid listings do not require payment.

Monthly billing and renewal

• Membership is billed monthly through Shopify.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
• Billing occurs according to the individual subscription schedule established at checkout.
• There is no setup fee or annual contract.
• Members are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method.
• Applicable charges are disclosed during enrollment.

Each successful payment covers the corresponding monthly membership period.

Founding and ongoing membership rates

Eligible businesses enrolling during the Founding enrollment period receive the Founding rate for their first 12 monthly billing cycles.

Beginning with billing cycle 13, an uninterrupted Founding membership transitions to the applicable Continuous Member rate.

Continuous Member pricing is protected for as long as membership remains uninterrupted, subject to the exceptions described in Section 11.

If membership ends, the previous protected rate is forfeited. A returning business enrolls at the Standard rate applicable at the time of re-enrollment.

The applicable Founding, Continuous Member and Standard rates are disclosed during enrollment or in the membership offer.

Membership continuity

Continuous membership means the subscription remains active without cancellation, termination or an interruption to the regular billing cycle.

Shopify may retry unsuccessful payments according to the configured subscription recovery settings. A payment failure does not automatically constitute an interruption while recovery is pending and the subscription remains active.

If payment recovery fails and the subscription terminates, membership benefits and protected pricing end. Paused or skipped billing cycles constitute interruptions for protected pricing purposes.

Re-enrollment establishes a new membership start date and does not restore previous pricing or placement seniority.

Business placement and priority

Active Partners receive priority over unpaid listings within qualifying HeyTaos business discovery placements.

Within the active Partner section, businesses are ordered by their uninterrupted membership start date. Earlier qualifying membership dates establish earlier positions.

Placement remains subject to accurate category classification and the applicable page format. Advertising expenditure, business size, popularity or personal relationships do not determine Partner order.

Following membership expiration, the business returns to its ordinary unpaid listing position, where applicable. Returning members receive a new placement position based on their new membership start date.

Included membership benefits

During an active paid membership, Partners receive the applicable benefits described on the Partner Program page, which may include:

• A professionally managed HeyTaos business page.
• Priority placement within qualifying business directories.
• Placement within up to three relevant business categories.
• Enhanced presentation, business information, photography and approved outbound links.
• Unlimited reasonable updates to the Partner's published business information.
• HeyTaos Partner identification.
• Eligibility for annual Partner Spotlight participation and applicable promotional rotations.
• Onboarding and editorial support.

Category placement is determined by business relevance and the structure of the HeyTaos directory.

Promotional participation does not guarantee a particular publication date, frequency, audience size or commercial outcome unless expressly confirmed in writing. HeyTaos retains editorial control over the format, presentation and scheduling of Partner content.

Business information and content rights

Partners must provide accurate information and confirm that they have the authority to submit all materials supplied to HeyTaos. These materials may include photographs, logos, menus, descriptions, business information, links and portfolio content.

Partners grant HeyTaos permission to reproduce, display, edit, resize, format and distribute approved materials for membership-related purposes, including business pages, Partner Spotlights, newsletters and HeyTaos-owned promotional channels.

Partners retain ownership of their original materials.

HeyTaos may decline or remove information that is inaccurate, misleading, outdated, inappropriate, unlawful, technically unsuitable or supplied without adequate usage rights.

Updates and editorial management

HeyTaos manages the presentation and publication of Partner business information.

Partners may request updates to business descriptions, operating hours, services, contact information, menus and other relevant details.

Updates are subject to editorial review and reasonable operational processing times. Unlimited updates do not include unlimited website redesigns, custom software development or services outside the published membership scope.

HeyTaos may correct factual errors, improve formatting and maintain consistency across its directory without requiring separate approval for routine editorial changes.

Cancellation and re-enrollment

Members may cancel through the available Shopify subscription management controls or contact HeyTaos for assistance.

Cancellation stops future subscription renewals. Membership benefits continue through the end of the billing period already paid for, unless suspension or removal for cause applies.

Payments are not prorated or refunded for unused portions of a billing period, except where required by applicable law.

After membership expires, paid Partner benefits and priority placement end. The business may remain in the free directory under ordinary listing rules, while protected pricing and placement seniority are forfeited.

A returning business must establish a new subscription under the rates and terms then available.

Suspension and removal

HeyTaos may suspend or terminate Partner status for fraud, deceptive conduct, unlawful activity, materially inaccurate information, misuse of the program, conduct affecting public safety or actions materially compromising the integrity of the platform.

When membership is terminated for cause, HeyTaos may immediately withdraw Partner benefits and stop future subscription billing, subject to applicable law.

Changes to membership terms

HeyTaos may update membership features, editorial standards, operating procedures, promotional channels and these terms as the platform develops.

Material changes affecting an active member's contractual benefits or obligations will be communicated before taking effect where required by applicable law.

An eligible Continuous Member's protected subscription price will not be increased while the membership remains uninterrupted, except where required by law, applicable taxes, payment-platform requirements or an arrangement expressly accepted by the member.

Performance and results

HeyTaos provides the membership services and placement benefits specified in the applicable program offer.

Membership does not guarantee website traffic, search-engine rankings, inquiries, customer leads, reservations, bookings, sales, revenue or other commercial results.

Search visibility and business outcomes depend on factors outside HeyTaos's control.
