Elijah Rael is a photographer and videographer based in Taos. Born and raised in New Mexico, he first picked up a camera at sixteen, drawn to the beauty and drama of the Southwest. That early curiosity developed into a lifelong commitment to photographing the places and moments that make this region extraordinary.
His work returns to towering skies, powerful storms, adobe walls, mountain horizons, rivers, and sacred architecture. Each photograph records the high desert at a specific moment while preserving its larger sense of memory and place.
