Artemisia Artwear opened in 2002 as a place for New Mexico fiber artists and weavers to sell wearable art, and has been on Bent Street in Taos's historic district ever since. Twenty-four years later, it is still built around the same idea: clothing and accessories made by hand, by people whose names the owner can tell you.

The racks carry work from dozens of artists working in handwoven textiles, hand-dyed and hand-painted fabric, natural fibers, and fused artisanal yarns, alongside a small curated selection of gently used wearable art. Nothing here is mass produced.
